Blue balloons marked the location in North Vancouver last Sunday night as Conservative MP hopeful Cindy Silver hosted party leader Stephen Harper at her home for a very special Sunday evening barbecue. Harper, who has been touring the land and meeting candidates, posed for pics with supporters and volunteers who came out to cheer the party on into the next yet-to-be-announced federal election.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

"It's one of the nicest barbecues we've been able to attend," said Conservative leader Stephen Harper as he addressed the crowd at the home of North Van candidate Cindy Silver.
West Vancouver candidate John Weston and wife Donna met leader Stephen Harper and talked about his upcoming bid to fill the shoes of MP John Reynolds after he retires.
