West Vancouver Tiddlycove Lions

By Catherine Barr

West Vancouver's Tiddlycove Lions Club held its 30th Anniversary and Reunion celebration last weekend at West Vancouver's Lawn Bowling Club. Attended by members old and new, the evening included speeches, awards and a historical review of the club and its activities. Congratulations to all who have served this community so well.

Catherine Barr, Vancouver's celebrity events reporter and photographer, is supported online by CLR Communications Ltd.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

West Van Lawn Bowling past president Ken Sinclair (left), current president Myrle Lawrence and Lions Charter Member Bryan Terrace chatted during the reception.
West Van mayor Ron Wood (left), CHILD Foundation and former deputy premier Grace McCarthy, Lions club president Eric Keller and Surrey mayor Doug McCallum were among the dignitaries.
Katrina Keller (left), Nigel Malkin, media personality Red Robinson and Horseshoe Bay Lions president Doug Boyd were on hand for the awards.
Treasurer Derek Perkins, seen here with wife Judy, is also an Order of Canada recipient.
