WEst Van Foundation Concert NighT at Kay Meek - A Tribute to the Music of Neil Diamond and ABBA

By Catherine Barr

West Vancouver's Kay Meek Centre was rockin' and a rollin' to the sound of music last week as the West Vancouver Foundation held its "A Tribute to the Music of Neil Diamond and ABBA" fundraiser. Nearly Neil's Bobby Bruce got the show going, pausing only briefly for a short live auction before turning over the spotlight to the popular ABBA Cadabra performers.

Catherine Barr, Vancouver's celebrity events reporter and photographer, is supported online by CLR Communications Ltd.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

West Van Foundation past chair Jo-Ann Wood posed for pics with honorary director and hubby Mayor Ron Wood and past West Van Chamber president Dina Zeitler.
Getting ready for the big show to start and enjoying some socializing were Patrick McLauglin (left), Andrew Pottinger and Geoff Scott who was visiting from Australia.
A big get well wish for foundation chair Bruce Milley, seen here with wife Lea, who took a tumble and had to attend the event in a wheelchair.
Kay Meek Centre executive director Bill Macdonald-Kerr welcomed guests like foundation mainstay Tom Bailey.
