Athletics for Kids (A4K) Reception at West Vancouver's Hollyburn Country Club

Nov 20, 2006

By Catherine Barr

Every kid deserves to play sports and raising money for the cause is the name of the game for the gang behind the Athletics for Kids (A4K) organization. Over the last four years, these locals have not only expanded their program into other communities, but have raised over $220,000 and helped over 150 children. An informal cocktail party last week at Hollyburn Country Club marked the start of year five and the upcoming main gala boxing fundraiser set for Friday the 13th of April 2007 - a lucky day for this group for sure.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.
