Dundarave Beach House Restaurant Christmas Festival of Lights

Dec 4, 2006

By Catherine Barr

Christmas has arrived in West Vancouver, especially down by the pier at 25th and Bellevue where the Beach House Restaurant is celebrating their 13th Annual Festival of Lights. This past Monday, they flipped the switch to turn on the lights of dozens of themed Christmas trees decorated by sponsors. Inside the restaurant, a soiree cocktail party featured live music, canapes and libations. Come on down and make a donation to the North Shore Family Services and vote for your favourite tree. On  now until Jan 2, 2006.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

Beach House hostesses Alicia Bell (left), Kerrie Taylor and Olga Sizykh sparkled as brightly as the trees outside.
Guests Suzy Henderson (left) and Lin Rockwell, of Park Royal's Romantique and Phoenix clothing respectively, joined in the celebration.
Schmoozing in the lounge were realtor Teresa De Cotiis (left), architect Tom Zimmerman and guest Laurie Graham.
Cindy Dobbe (lft), Deborah Grimm and Dolores Elliot, of the Looking Glass Foundation for Eating Disorders, were among the many distinguished guests.
Beach House general manager Molly Kiefer (left) and Festival of Lights Coordinator Tania Frydrysek deserve a big round of applause for all their hard work.
The Beach House's own team of elves helped deck the halls. From left: Lauren McGibbon, Phil Reigh, Krista Ottema and Dave Jackson.
Want a new Bimmer for Christmas? Then go see Park Shore Motors' salesmen and soiree sponsors Rob Livingstone (left) or James Duess.
