Singin' in the Rain - Broadway at the MOvies - A Wintersong Festival West Vancouver Event

Feb 11, 2006

By Catherine Barr

West Vancouver's first annual Wintersong festival was a huge success. Featuring professional and local aspiring talent, the event celebrated song at various locations all throughout West Vancouver. Some of the best events were free of charge, like last week's Singin' in the Rain - Broadway at the Movies. Held in the Village at Park Royal, this event featured student members of the Capilano College Musical Theatre Department. A big white marquee tent protected the audience from any chance of rain, but a beautiful sunny day turned this "Singing in the Rain" event into more of a "Sunny Side of the Street" concert for all ages.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.
