SO how do you improve on perfection? Cafe il Nido
owner Franco Felice, with the help of creative director Emmanuel St.
Juste and interior designer Tamara Bush, may have done just that. His
revamped, upscale Robson Street location was host to a party of well-wishers
who came out to see the new surroundings. Sculptor Jean Guy Dallaire
was there, as was Vancouver Opera's Mark Fenster whose deep and powerful
voice entertained the crowd with a selection from Don Giovanni. Still,
Franco ran the risk of being somewhat overshadowed by his best and most
beautiful piece of art, partner Leah-Ann Ferrato, who is always an elegant
accompaniment to any occasion. Viva Italia!
