Loving Spoonful 15 Years of Love at Caprice

Jun 17, 2003

By Catherine Barr

Fashion, flash and flair were everywhere at the Caprice nightclub last week as A Loving Spoonful (a charitable organization benefitting those with AIDS) celebrated "15 Years of Love". Designed after the old NY//Warhol warehouse parties of the 70's, this night was part party, part fundraiser and part "thank-you" to all those who contribute to this great cause. A fashion show, great music and lots of colourful characters helped make this night a winner.

Catherine Barr, Vancouver's celebrity events reporter and photographer, is supported online by CLR Communications Ltd.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

Don't let the chains fool you, director Sharyle Lyndon was happy to welcome guests at the door.
Artist and gallery owner Alexandra DiezBarrosso and Gregory Karlen added personality to the event.
DJ Quest, aka John Woodall, kept the tunes spinning and the dance floor full all night long.
Looking hot in shocking pink, and chatting up a storm, was personality Symone.
Feelow artists Jessica Baert and Jason Hadikin came out to support this worthwhile cause.
Loving Spoonful director Kenneth Hamlin was thrilled with the turnout, as was organization founder Easter.
