Dine Out Vancouver

Jan 14, 2004

By Catherine Barr

It's back and it's bigger and better than last year. At least that's what the folks down at Tourism Vancouver are saying about this year's "Dine Out Vancouver" event. Over 111 restaurants are participating this year and the whole shebang got off to a good start with a rather chichi reception at Vancouver's Terminal City Club. Restauranteurs, wineries and invited guests got a sneak peak at what's to come. Everything starts Jan 23 - Feb 5, so book your reservations now.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

Tourism Vancouver's Kate Colley Lo (left), husband John Lo and T2 promotions gal Tanis Tsisserev schmoozed near the sushi.
Chella Levesque and Marine Drive restaurant owner Ken Brooks posed near the pasta.
Capones restaurant's "head of the mob" Rob Gietl and "promo diva" Tanya Romanuk reject traditional titles in favour of some fun and creative captions.
Creekside's Marc Portelance (left)was one of many who congratulated Terminal City executive chef David Lang on his excellent choice and presentation of food for the evening.
Hats off to the men behind the scenes. David Holmes of the Comfort Inn Downtown (left), La Terrazza's Kevin Lorage and Stonegrill's Christopher Tang have a busy week ahead.
