Vancouver's Au Bar Nightclub 5th Anniversary party

Mar 5, 2005

By Catherine Barr

Five years ago Au Bar nightclub opened its doors and its been one big party ever since. Invited guests and VIPs got a chance to celebrate at the "Garden of Eden" anniversary event along with the staff as "heavenly" costumed hostesses and special complimentary samples and treats were dished out.

Catherine Barr, Vancouver's celebrity events reporter and photographer, is supported online by CLR Communications Ltd.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

Karla Hoffman (left) and Heather Johnson say one of the best things about working at Au Bar is "all the hot men and bartenders."
Taking charge of business at the door were Mardi Dent (left) and Colin Rice.
Being surrounded by dancing angels Araban Ocran (left) and Tia Alexander was postively heavenly for GM Trevor Hurstfield.
Regulars Kristin Fee (left) and Kim Johansen like Au Bar for the "good music and atmosphere."
It was definitely a bow tie kind of occasion as Spero Benias (left), Bobby Watt and Morgan Williams can tell you.
Club owners Dave Kershaw and Derek Pink also have a hand in the Stone Temple, Tonic and The Shore nightclubs.
