Jun 25, 2005

By Catherine Barr

It was a red carpet welcome for guests at the Quay restaurant in Yaletown Saturday night as Bif Naked and Bodog Music launched her latest CD entitled "Superbeautifulmonster". Bif's latest video "Let Down" was shown as execs and VIPs toasted one of Vancouver's most notable femme fatales. Extra star power was provided by Samuel L. Jackson, who is in town shooting "Pacific Air 121", stopped by to join in the fun.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

Soon to have their own big hit with "Insane" , bass player Parker Bossley (left), drummer Amanmda Hamilton and lead Bryan Steeksma of The Heck play "real rock and roll".
Our own WE Westender publisher James Craig, who has followed Bif's career for years, was among the VIPs.
He only plays the role of a bad guy. In person, superstar Samuel L. Jackson is a true gentleman. He stopped by to give his best wishes to Bif on her new CD.
