Vancouver Opera at Lumiere / Feenie's supper club

April 18, 2005

By Catherine Barr

Vancouver Opera's gala fundraiser was held this past Monday at "Iron Chef" Rob Feenie's perfect Lumiere restaurant. Complete with 1930's Supper Club theme, guests wined and dined in support of this very worthwhile cause.

Catherine Barr, Vancouver's celebrity events reporter and photographer, is supported online by CLR Communications Ltd.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

Vancouver Opera volunteers Rob Kirkpatrick (left), Dalia Taher, Myles Koshman and Carman Stossel got into the swing of things with authentic costumes.
Lumiee/Feenie's hostesses Ariel Lee (left), Nicole Arnett and Samantha Duggan greeted guests at the door.
A beautiful offering of appetizers straight from the newly renovated Lumiere kitchen.
Mission Hill Family Estate proprietor Anthony von Mandl, seen here with Grazia Cartocchi, featured his reserve wines with dinner.
Fashion leaders Rachel Kapsalis and Francoe Nigro of Vetrina and Quorum fame.
Parvis Cordwell, xxxxx and Maria Leone.
Lumiere / Feenie's partners Mark Steenge and chef Rob Feenie served five spectacular courses with wine and music.
