Last Thursday, Lift Restaurant celebrated their one year anniversary with an after work cocktail party that also featured the introduction of their new "Wet on Whet" tasting menu. It was also a taste of something new last Thursday for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and their "Cool Yule" event which was held at the Pan Pacific and featured live jazz, food tasting stations and a chance to celebrate the holidays. And to round out the week, we were given a taste of what's to come on April 1 as the Canadian Cancer Society's Diamond Ball committee held a special preview cocktail party at the CTV studios.
