It was time for fashion, food and fun last week and the parties were plentiful. It started with BC Fashion Week and the "Not Fit for Print" gala which was held at the Buschlen Mowatt Gallery on Tuesday. It was followed by a weekend of fashion shows at the Scotiabank Dance Centre and after parties galore at various venues throughout the city. Celebrity foodie Caren McSherry clebrated the re-opening of her Gourmet Warehouse store in its new East Hasting location last Wednesday and, if that weren't enough, Canadian actor Dan Aykroyd, Vancouver Police's Odd Squad and his new found biker buddies held a VIP party at the Commodore on Sunday promoting Patron tequila and fundraising for Canucks Place Hospice.
