REd Light Lounge at Zin Restaurant Vancouver

Feb 9, 2006

By Catherine Barr

Event producer Rory Richards invented the "Red Light Lounge" industry party as an opportunity to bring together Vancouver's Film and Television elite. Each party is hosted by five or six different industry personalities and allows everyone from producers to actors, writers and directors to schmooze and socialize in a no pressure, fun environment. Last week's event was held at the Pacific Palisades Hotel's Zin Restaurant and Lounge.

Catherine Barr, Vancouver's celebrity events reporter and photographer, is supported online by CLR Communications Ltd, , and

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

"Urban Rush" producer Lisa Macfarlane (left) joined PR Diva's Gwendolynn Gawlick and Katharine Hamer, editor of the Jewish Independent.

Okanagan Film Studio's own Dave Geertz enjoyed chatting with actors Lindsay Maxwell (left), who was recently seen in "Butterfly Effect 2", and Anastasia Fontaines.
Red Light Lounge producer Rory Richards, seen here wtih property developer Les Allen, looked very glam in a beautiful copper gown.
