You should have seen the confused look on the faces of cruise ship passengers as they set sail from Canada Place last Friday night, sailing out past a floating golf green and three levels of cheering fans. The 2007 Volkswagen Ultimate Shoot-Out Vancouver is in its third year and is always a big draw for celebs and sporting fans alike. Brainchild of Jon Curleigh (Pursuit Productions) and Kyle Washington (Seaspan Washington Marine), this year included team events as well as the main event where one lucky winner walked away with a new 2007 Passat. Also scoring big this week were friends Betina Schonberger and Philippa Green who are in a race to save lives. The gals held an Exotic Wines of the World tasting and auction at Monk McQueens to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphona Society as part of their Team in Training - the world's largest endurance sports training and marathon fundraiser program.

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.
