Now that bikini season is officially over, it's time to fatten up for winter. Well, maybe not quite - but is there any harm in treating yourself to a little indulgence this fall? If the answer is yes, then you're in luck because starting today (Oct 14) wine and food enthusiasts can fill up at the Taste of Yaletown event. With 20+ restaurants to choose from, and menus priced at $25, $35 or $45 dollars, how can you refuse a night out on the town. Big tip here - make sure you reserve at <tasteofyaletown.com> as spaces fill up fast. And speaking of fast, it's hard to believe that another year has flown by at the Vancouver International Film Festival. Offering more films, seminars and parties than one can count, the 27th annual celebration has officially been declared a hit and I personally can't wait for next year. Also, in closing, it's a toast to one of BC's most distinguished gentlemen. George Reifel, of the famous Reifel family, was honoured at the Four Seasons by The Nature Trust of BC for all his support and dedication towards conservancy. If the name sounds familiar, it should. The Geroge C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary in Delta is part of his family's history and they also first built and owned the Commodore Ballroom in downtown Vancouver - sometime back when prohibition was still in effect. Once lifted, the family went into the beer business building the Vanouver brewery which today is now owned by Carling O'Keefe. I'll drink to that!

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.
