Deep Cove Yacht Club Ladies Night

May 23, 2007

By Catherine Barr

The Deep Cove Yacht Club raised a glass in support of women everywhere last week. The second annual Ladies Night meant martinis and merlot for everyone and included an evening of fashion and displays of local arts and crafts. Proceeds raised will go to support the Sage Transition House which helps battered and abused women.

Catherine Barr, Vancouver's celebrity events reporter and photographer, is supported online by CLR Communications Ltd, , and

Vancouver's best events and celebrity functions are all archived here. Vancouver pubs, clubs, nightclubs, gala events and fundraisers are included. Thanks for viewing.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

Bring a bottle for the wine table and share in a toast with Annmarie Sharman (left), Kathy LeBlond, Karole Doucette, Leslie Thomas and Nancy Van Neste-Baker.
Tara Manky and her husband create art animal photos which she was thrilled to show off to the gals.
Nancy Stonkus (left front), Sharon Brain, Shelley Hrdlitschka and Loretta Byrne prove girls just wanna have fun.
Toating women everywhere were D'Arcy Bader (left), Eileen Curtis, Sandy Wolf and Deep Cove YC Commodore Pam Juryn.
