The Honourable Stockwell Day, Minister of Public Safety, is known for his flamboyant entrances. But last Friday, he left the jet-ski at home as he pulled up to the front of West Vancouver's Capilano Golf and Country Club in - what else - a Volkswagen Golf. Inside, the party faithful, led by West Vancouver - Sunshine Coast - Sea-to-Sky candidate John Weston, waited to greet the guest of honour. VIPs were treated to a private reception followed by an elegant dinner and more. Could a federal election be looming on the horizon??
