Earl's Paramount Restaurant Vancouver Playhouse Wine Festival Opening

Mar 26, 2007

By Catherine Barr

The 2007 Vancouver Playhouse International Wine Festival is in full swing this week with wine makers' dinners, seminars, tastings and more. It all started Monday at Earl's Paramount downtown with the "Get Uncorked" grazing and tasting event hosted by the Earl's staff, Casella Wines and the rest of the Yellow Tail wine "Roo Crew". Cheers.

Due to server capacity, you will not be able to access or click through to the larger photographs. With over 250,000 unique visits each month, our site would quickly exceed the amount of memory needed.

If you would like to receive a copy of a photograph, then please send an email and enclose the details of the event, the date, the name, the photo number and the names of the people in the photograph. Also, for security reasons, I prefer not to email copies of pictures to anyone other than the people who are actually in the photo. Thanks.

Pouring the newest from Yellow Tail, which was simply called "Bubbles", was Earl's girls Kirsten Swallow (left) and Evelyn Pajak.
Serving everything from Aussie hot pots to spicy prawns were Jessica Knutson (left), Katelyn Spencer, Breianne Zellinsky and Tara Campbell.
Cheers to Earl's main man George Piper and left hand gal Lauren Chatwin for hosting the big festival kick-off party.
Assistant bar manager Carson Drake (left) and server Tim Nugent kept the glasses full and the guests happy.
Saturna Island Family Estate Winery is luck to have sisters Lisa (left) and Alyson Baxter pouring on the praise at the festival.
