Vancouver's money makers and shakers came out in force last week for the "Renewal of the Jewel" gala. Held last Thursday at the Stanley Park Pavillion, the event was spearheaded by Daniel Frankel, President and CEO of Daniel Hospitality Group, and Allan De Genova, Commissioner of the Board of Parks and Recreation. Over $140,000 was raised which will go towards the park's ongoing clean-up and restoration project.
